With the summer time in full swing, it is time to think about which IT and technology conferences you will be attending, if you haven’t decided already. Representatives from Hales Technologies will be attending three conferences in the next six months and we would love to see you there!
VMworld 2017 US
VMWorld is the annual conference put on by Vmware. Here are the details you need to know:
When: August 27-31
Where: Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Convention Center
Rates: While the early bird special has passed, the regular rates apply until August 25. After August 25, the rates will be higher and considered on-site rates.
Events: Every day is filled with a variety of activities, including breakout sessions, lectures, and hands-on labs. Some of the highlighted activities include the welcome reception, solutions exchange, the Hall Crawl, and the customer appreciation party.
Attendees of the conference have access to exclusive discounts to six resort hotels: The Mandalay Bay, Four Seasons, Delano Las Vegas, MGM Grand, the Signature at MGM Grand, and Luxor. Pluralsight Live
Pluralsight Live is hosted by the web-based learning website, Pluralsight. The conference has three purposes: navigate the digital transformation, capitalize on emerging trends, and do more with their learning platform. Here are the details you need to know:
When: September 19-21
Where: Salt Lake City, The Grand America Hotel
Events: Over the course of the three day conference, there will be 12 mainstage speakers and over 40 breakout session options with professionals from all aspects of technology, trends, and education.
Rooms can be booked through the registration process or by calling the hotel directly. If you stay at the Grand American, your parking is complimentary as part of your registration. Your registration also includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, and appetizers at dinner.
re:Invent
AWS re:Invent 2017 is being held by Amazon Web Services. The conference, being held within six hotels and venues in Las Vegas, will offer over 1,000 speakers and breakout sessions. Here are the details you need to know:
When: November 27 – December 1
Where: Las Vegas
Rates: Full Conference Pass: $1,799
Group rates depend on the number of attendees, up to 75 people per group.
The Full Conference Pass includes all keynotes and sessions, hands-on-labs, re:Invent Expo, the Developer Lounge, the Welcome Reception, Pub Crawl, Re:Play Party, breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
Additional events such as Bootcamps and fitness packages are an additional cost.
Events: While AWS has not released its list of Keynote or session speakers, the extensive schedule of general events such as general breakout sessions and meals can be found here.
